Cross-country workshop for the finalization of the country project documents of the UNESCO-KFIT project
The cross-country workshop will lead to the finalization of the project documents of the three beneficiary countries of the UNESCO-Korean Funds in Trust (UNESCO-KFIT) project on ICT Transforming Education in Africa, i.e. Mozambique, Rwanda and Zimbabwe.
The workshop will convene the appointed Focal Points and core team members from Mozambique, Rwanda and Zimbabwe, the focal points from the concerned UNESCO Field Offices, programme specialists of UNESCO Headquarters and international experts, including from the Republic of Korea.
The main objective of the workshop is to finalize the preparation of a relevant and feasible implementation plan for the countries, with the aim of launching project implementation at country level. More specifically, the workshop aims to:
•Present the results of the needs assessment exercise that took place in April/May 2016;
•Map out resources available from UNESCO and international experts, particularly Korean experts;
•Finalize the preparation of the national project document consisting of a detailed work plan and budget for the implementation of the project in the country;
•Finalize the detailed work plan for the period June-December 2016.
