The event will enable Member States to learn about the findings of UNESCO’s cutting-edge global report ‘Cracking the Code: Girls’ and women’s education in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM)’, the outcomes of UNESCO’s 2017 international symposium and policy forum on the same topic, and other tools and programmes developed by UNESCO to promote girls’ and women’s education in STEM. It will seek to engage, inform and support Member States in their efforts to promote gender equality in education, and the attainment of the Sustainable Development Goals.

Feast your eyes on videos, scribe illustrations, social media assets, and engaging infographics, reports and materials. Treat your ears to perspectives and experience from UNESCO’s Education and Science Sectors, the Division of Gender Equality, private sector partner CJ Group, UNESCO-IBE, Ambassadors to UNESCO, and others in the Field. And regale in fine food and good company as we celebrate the World Day of Science for Peace and Development.
