Consultation meeting for Member States to provide their views, comments and suggestions on a draft Roadmap for a UNESCO Recommendation on Open Science.
Further to the discussions on a possible UNESCO Open Science Recommendation, the 206th session of the UNESCO Executive Board invited the Director-General "to continue holding intergovernmental consultations with the view to the possible elaboration of a recommendation on open science".br /In this context, a consultation is organized for Member States to provide their views, comments and suggestions on a draft Roadmap for a UNESCO Recommendation on Open Science. br /br /The proposed Programme of the meeting is as follows:br /- "Background and Opportunities for Open Science and UNESCO", Ms Shamila Nair-Bedouelle, Assistant Director-General for Natural Sciences, UNESCObr /- Draft Roadmap for a UNESCO Recommendation on Open Science", Ms Peggy Oti-boateng, Director, Division of Science Policy and Capacity Building
