Tuesday May 21 marks the World Day for Cultural Diversity, proclaimed by the UN General Assembly in 2002. The culture department of the UNESCO Office in Montevideo and the Ministry of Culture of Argentina will held a ceremony in Buenos Aires, to raise awareness on the importance of culture in social development. The culture specialist in the Montevideo Office, Frédéric Vacheron will present the publication "Knowledge Management in Culture and Development", on the 18 joint programs implemented under the Fund for the Achievement of the Millennium Development Goals (MDG-F).
