This Conference on “The Transformative Power of Early Childhood Development: (ECD) The importance of holistic interventions” will be jointly organized by ARNEC and the Cambodian Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport (MoEYS) in collaboration and support by UNESCO, UNICEF and other relevant International Organizations, NGOs such as Plan International, Open Society Foundations, Save the Children, and Child-Funds International.

The Conference will bring together over 500 participants including ministers and other high-level policymakers, ECD professionals, academics, practitioners and all others interested in Early Childhood matters from the Asia-Pacific region and beyond.
Objectives of the conference :
- share and learn from examples of ECD policies, programmes and research
- strengthen the advocacy for holistic and inclusive ECD
- share knowledge, tools and noteworthy practices on ECD policies and programmes
- strengthen partnerships for ECD among a large range of existing and potential stakeholders.

The Conference will serve as a platform for sharing new developments as well as introduce stakeholders in new initiatives related to early years’ policy and programming and provide opportunities for policy makers and practitioners to contextualize ECD on the global agenda in their own countries. It will also focus on the importance of equitable access to an integrated approach to early childhood development.
