5th Meeting of the Regional Working Group on Tsunami Warning and Mitigation System for the South China Sea Region

The Working Group comprises nine member countries (Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, China, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam) along the coast of the South China Sea region.
It is tasked to implement the South China Sea Region Tsunami Warning and Mitigation System as a technical platform in support of tsunami hazard monitoring, warning message dissemination, risk assessment and emergency preparedness for the region.
