Describe the main features of the policy/measure: 

To monitor and evaluate the implementation of gender and development activities in all development sectors (public, private and civil society levels).
To facilitate gender mainstreaming in sector development programs at all levels.
To provide capacity building on gender mainstreaming and analysis for gender focal points within government, civil society and private sector organisations.
To promote a conducive family environment for the both men and women.
To support and promote the family structure and ensure cohesion.

What are the results achieved so far through the implementation of the policy/measure?: 

The establishment of the Gender Coordination Unit by the government has facilitated the improved participation of women and other disadvantaged groups in development programmes and at all levels.
