A programming that includes ample and wide-ranging artistic presentations of prestigious theatre and dance companies from Cuba and abroad.

Annual student graduation of the national arts schools and the University of the Arts.

Special programming for the children in the community which includes all artistic expressions during the Summer Vacation Plan which is organised every year.

Venue for film and visual arts festivals and concerts of renowned musicians.

Main conclusions of the evaluation of the measure:

A building which had been closed for many years was recovered.

It was observed that the Miramar cinema is a project that combines the objectives of cultural promotion and outreach with those of socio-cultural animation, popular education and arts education. 

It has favoured the artistic training and promotion of young talents, fostered the stability of a public that receives quality cultural options, and contributed to the spiritual enjoyment and the use of leisure time in a cultured manner.

It was seen that its cultural outreach met community interests and needs.

It has become an ideal venue for courses and national and international events with the presence of outstanding cultural figures.
