Describe the main features of the policy/measure:
The Spanish Cultural Action (AC / E) Program for the Internationalization of Spanish Culture (PICE) promotes and facilitates the presence of the creative and cultural sector in the international arena through two lines of aid.
These two lines of support are Mobility grants and Visitor grants. Mobility grants promote the presence of Spanish cultural works, productions, artists, creators, agents and professionals in international institutions.
Visitor aids allow the presence in Spain of foreign prescribers and programmers in order for them to know directly the offerings of the different Spanish cultural and artistic fields organized in festivals, meetings and fairs.
Both types of aid, Mobility and Visitors, are articulated in two annual calls for each modality.

What are the results achieved so far through the implementation of the policy/measure?:
Through the PICE, between 2016 and 2019, 1,376 events have been supported (Mobility: 983 and Visitors: 393). More than 4,500 professionals have participated in these events, including Spanish creators (2,473) and foreign visitors (2,096).
Financial resources allocated to the policy/measure in USD:
In the period 2016-2019, approximately 4.701.600 $ were allocated to Mobility grants, and around 2.468.340 $ to Visitor grants.

It is evaluated annually, and the results are published.
The latest report, prepared from the 2018 results and carried out by the Complutense University of Madrid, concludes that the PICE is a real support for the internalization of Spanish creators. The report also recommends that in order to guarantee the external presence of the sector, AC / E undertakes a more intensive monitoring of the development of the projects and offers subsequent support to them, to guarantee that the aid has a long-term impact on the careers of the beneficiaries.
