Describe the main features of the measure/initiative:
The “Palestinian Visual Art Resource Platform”, is a core program of The Palestinian Art Court – AlHoash. Palestinian Visual arts require proper digitization and preservation for documentation and educational purposes. Under this program, al Hoash has been building on the generous archive handed down by Al Wasiti to Al Hoash where it aims to complete its Digitization and to form a platform that is accessible to all concerned for whatever purpose they have in mind, be it research, learning and so forth. The project provides a digital archive that documents the historical and contemporary experience of Palestinian visual arts practices and establishes a rich research resource that preserves artistic memory and provides a platform and database for understanding and studying cultural and artistic variables. In addition, the platform allows for the creation of a digital library for publications, research books and critical studies that monitor the Palestinian art movement and its historical and contemporary products.
What are the results achieved so far through the implementation of the measure/initiative?:
1. Arabizing the productive knowledge about the Palestinian visual arts and encouraging writing and research in the Arabic language.
2. Create a digital library for publications, research books, and critical studies that monitor the Palestinian art movement and its historical and contemporary products.
