Dialogue meeting organised by the Commission in 2019 to discuss topical issues related to musical diversity in Europe and the competitiveness of the industry. A second (online) conference in March 2021, entitled Diversity and Competitiveness of the European Music Sector.

- Challenges for live music
- Access to capital for the music sector
- The new EU Copyright Directive

A second (online) conference in March 2021, entitled Diversity and Competitiveness of the European Music Sector, brought together music industry stakeholders, civil society organizations and EU Member States’ representatives. There were four sessions on

- Role of music in society, for social cohesion and well-being
- Music streaming and cultural diversity
- Music Moves Europe
