Key objectives of the measure:

The guiding principle for Denmark in terms of international cultural cooperation is to take actively part in the work of international organisations highlighting the viewpoints and needs of a small country and a small language area in larger international and global issues. This include active participation in international fora such as the Nordic Council of Ministers, the European Union, the Council of Europe and UNESCO as well as bilateral cultural cooperation, e.g. through mutual cultural exchange. 

This section will introduce a number of measures serving as examples of ways of facilitating international cultural cooperation with a main focus on mutual cultural exchange, as cultural exchange form the primary basis for Danish international cultural policy. Please note, that not all of the key questions a-i are relevant for each measure. Therefore, the questions will not be addressed individually, but instead sought incorporated into the overall description of each example
