Management and business training for cultural professionals and arts associations
The project aims to build up the skills and technical know-how of Zimbabwe’s cultural professionals, thus allowing them to be more actively involved in the development of local cultural industries. Targeting managers of Zimbabwe’s top arts and culture festivals and the leaders of the country’s most prominent cultural industries organizations, the project will carry out capacity-building workshops on management and corporate governance in order to strengthen their critical skills and knowledge on resource mobilization, industrial and labour legislation. Moreover, the project will raise awareness of the role of Zimbabwe’s cultural industries as a vector for sustainable development and poverty reduction amongst participants.
