Cine.ar Play

Cine.ar Play, an Argentinian video-on-demand platform created by the Argentina national film authority (INCAA) in 2015, has experienced a marked growth since the beginning of the COVID-19 Pandemic. The platform went from 829 355 views in 2019 to 1 662 478 in 2020, in addition to having surpassed the simultaneity of connected users by practically 90%. During times of confinement and closure of creative venues, the platform has offered an opportunity for directors to make their content known and for creative content to reach a large proportion of the population.

The platform is adapted for a wide variety of screens and mobile devices, which also accounts for the increase in users, rentals, allowing the possibility of acquiring new monthly productions to be viewed by users.
