Ms Esther Liberato Bagi Rasas is a South Sudanese dramatist who utilizes her professional experience in drama and theatre to promote cultural diversity for social transformation. She worked for many institutions dealing with theatre and radio drama in South Sudan as an actress and consultant. She also attended many trainings on radio drama abroad, in The Netherlands and Kenya, and conducted trainings on radio drama in South Sudan for actresses and actors. Ms Rasas has written many scripts for both radio and theatre. She participated in many theatre festivals, such as the World Shakespeare Festival in London and played the role of the Queen in Cymbeline by William Shakespeare. She is a lecturer and heads the Department of Drama at the University of Juba, School of Art, Music and Drama. She also is the present Deputy Chair of the Council of Art, Music and Theatre Professionals in South Sudan.
