Over 3 days, about 140 stakeholders from various organizations, such as local governmental organizations, the Chamber of Commerce, the Creative Economy Agency, educational institutes, local ceramic studios, as well as the general public participated in the event either in person or online. The event also welcomed the participation of other Creative Cities of Crafts and Folk Art, namely Sukhothai, Tamba Sasayama, Jingdhezen, Weifang, Baguio City, Kütahya and Manises.

During the event, knowledgeable speakers including a professor from the Faculty of Humanities of the Chiang Mai University specialized in ceramics of the Northern Thailand “Lanna” region, local ceramic artists, and representatives of the participating Creative Cities, shared their respective knowledge and expertise.

In addition, the participants were also given the opportunity to partake in ceramic workshops lead by a group of young local ceramists, who shared their knowledge and skills on 4 important ceramic techniques: hand molding, painting, glazing and scratching.
