Sustainable Living - Mexico

Kids from the American Institute of Monterrey from grades 1st to 3rd have been participating in Science Workshops with Horno 3, which is Interactive Science and Technology Center in Monterrey. Our third grade students shared in sessions about Sustainable Living and tied it with their current area of science study of plant life. This session was to focus on reusing daily household items. They took used Tetra-Packs, plastic bottles and old paper to make seedling pots so they could start their own gardens.
