Be what you want to be - India
Today our school celebrated Universal Children's Day and World Philosophy Day with an open talent hunt show and the theme or philosophy was "Be what you want to be". (Click here for more pictures)
This idea is very rarely found in India as compared to any developed country, as kids are always under pressure to fulfill their elders' dream, either emotionally or forcefully, and are not allowed to follow what they believe in. Mostly, it's education which decides which stream to take or which job to pursue.
So today we pledge that you should always try to pursue your dream and try to convince your elders that you need them to follow your goals completely and happily.
