Celebrating Global Cooperation on Ocean Science

The Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission of UNESCO (IOC) is delighted to invite you to the first ever Ocean’s 8 Celebration which honours national ocean science champions in eight key categories.

 

The Ocean’s 8 Celebration highlights the upcoming launch of the first Global Ocean Science Report by the Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission of UNESCO (IOC). This ground-breaking report shows how countries need to work together to build the capacity in global ocean science needed to achieve the Sustainable Development Goal 14 to protect the world’s oceans. 

Join our distinguished guests and a panel of world-leading experts as we learn how to build greater intergovernmental cooperation on ocean science.
