Objectives and Mission: 

Support development [innovation] at local, national and global levels, in order to contribute to solving problems of poverty, injustice, gender inequity and lack of sustainability; encourage, support and facilitate creation of a sense of community among individuals and organizations committed to [social justice] at the local, national, regional and international levels; promote dialogue, understanding and cooperation for social development and economic development that further the [well-being] of all peoples.

General description: 

Programmes operate on a 3-year cycle based on the triennial World Conference. Key programmes: Horizon Scanning and trend Monitoring Report; East African Scenarios Programme; Regional Integration Equity Programme; Gender and Development Programme; Human Mobility.
