Dianova International

Objectives and Mission: 

The purpose of Dianova International is to provide assistance to people with addictions; set up various types of programmes aimed at preventing the spread of addiction and related diseases; study the causes and effects of addiction at the individual, familial, political and social levels; make recommendations and implement any other appropriate measures at the international level; assist persons of all ages who are in difficulty, excluded or marginalized, regardless of race, religion or political affiliation; participate in any activity which is in line with the principles and objectives of international development cooperation. Dianova runs innovative programmes and projects in the field of education, youth, prevention/treatment of addictions and socio-community development.

General description: 

Education, youth affairs and various forms of addiction continue to be Dianova’s main areas of intervention. However, in order to meet the expectations of populations made vulnerable by the global context, the network has undertaken to diversify its activities to include, in particular: socio-community development; the promotion of gender equality and women’s empowerment; the implementation of housing solutions for the homeless and for poorly housed people; the provision of assistance to the elderly and dependent persons; legal and social assistance; the training of counsellors and instructors; provision of emergency shelter and integration assistance to unaccompanied foreign minors.
