To study with other international organizations the problems posed by extreme poverty around the world, to investigate its causes, and propose solutions in conformity with justice and human dignity. The Caritas Clubs are teaching structures with as top priority to engage of the young people from 18 to 25 years in a step of international solidarity. Caritas mobilized resources and staff to help devastated communities after the tsunami of December 26, 2004. It published a booklet describing what it carried out and what it remains to be done one year after the tsunami.
