Arab Institute For Human Rights

Objectives and Mission: 

The Arab Institute for Human Rights aims to promote a culture of civil, political, economic, social and cultural human rights, as enshrined in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and international conventions, and to strengthen the values of democracy and citizenship.

General description: 

Promotes activities of training and human rights education and democracy through conferences, seminars and workshops; organizes annual training sessions (summer course); carries out studies and surveys about human rights; enhances the role of the media in the promotion of human rights; consolidates NGOs and civil society institutions and promotes their efficiency in the Arab world; develops human rights information exchange; promotes women and children's rights.
