The Alliance of European Cultural Cities is a network created in 1997 on the initiative of five European cities: Olomouc in the Czech Republic, Tours in France, Pécs in Hungary, Toledo in Spain and Cosenza in Italy, aims to set up a network of historic territorial authorities which intend to make their heritage a vector of local sustainable development. The members of this network join forces to exchange expertise and best practices around the valorization of their heritage.

European Agreement "Sustainable development of the historical and cultural cities – Qualicities"
