Career development is founded on the basis of partnership approach between the staff member, the manager and the Organization. In UNESCO, mobility is an integral part of career development.
The Organization offers a range of trainings to its staff in different areas/subjects such as:
- Language courses in Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Russian and Spanish for staff and their spouse;
- IT (Windows operating systems);
- Managerial and professional skills;
- Career development workshops.
Staff may also choose to follow external courses under certain conditions.
