Ecosystem Health and Sustainability (EHS), a new, international, peer-reviewed, online, open-access journal will be published jointly by the Ecological Society of America and the Ecological Society of China in early 2015. The publication will focus on advances in macroecology and sustainability science. It will analyse how changes in human activities affect ecosystem conditions, and focus on systems approaches for applying ecological science in decision-making to promote sustainable development.
The UNESCO’s Man and the Biosphere Programme (MAB) is a member of the Editorial Board of the EHS Journal, which currently consists of 60 scientists from 27 countries and regions, including representatives from emerging economies and developing countries, as well as international organizations such as the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN), the International Council for Science (ICSU), the World Academy of Sciences (TWAS) and SCOPE.
EHS is now open for submissions. Please read the following Instructions for Authors for details on how to prepare and submit articles.
