The first IPDCtalks were held at UNESCO Headquarters in Paris, 2016 to highlight the importance of Access to Information for the achievement of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. High level public leaders, top journalists, philosophers as well as business and community leaders from more than ten different countries presented a highly dynamic Talk and addressed the issues around media development, access to information and freedom of expression for the realization of a particular SDG.
