World AIDS Day 2015 is the opportune moment to take stock of our progress on MDG6, including accounting for unfinished business that must be taken forward into the post-2015 era.
The Permanent Delegates to UNESCO are cordially invited to save-the-date for the World AIDS Day commemoration event that UNESCO is organizing at the Headquarters.

World AIDS Day 2015 is the opportune moment to take stock of our progress on MDG6, including accounting for unfinished business that must be taken forward into the post-2015 era.
One of the key areas of unfinished business relates to young people’s low level of knowledge levels of HIV and AIDS, and outreach to young people, who are recognized as being among the key groups to have been left behind by the AIDS response.

To this regards, UNESCO that is uniquely positioned to address this unfinished business, would like to inform during this event of its progress and vision for the next fifteen years to respond effectively to HIV and AIDS.
