UNESCO Tashkent Office in partnership with the Ministries of Public Education, Higher and Secondary Education, and the Centre for Secondary Specialized and Professional Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan is organizing a seminar-workshop to incorporate ICT competency requirements for teachers developed within the framework of the regional project “Supporting Competency-Based Teacher Training Reforms to Facilitate ICT-Pedagogy Integration”, into the teacher education programmes.

The workshop would allow to review the current training programmes, map them with the competency requirements, identify possible gaps between the current programmes and the competency requirements, and revise the existing programme, or create a new one to fill the existing gaps and develop a complete updated programme. The workshop will be facilitated by specialists from UNESCO’s Asia-Pacific Regional Bureau for Education in Bangkok and the National Office in Tashkent, with technical support of the Korea Education and Research Information Services (KERIS).
