Training of trainers workshop on instructional design in Rwanda
UNESCO will support a training of trainers workshop on instructional design at University of Rwanda, College of Science and Technology (CST) in Rwanda. The training workshop will attract 55 participants including academic staff from University of Rwanda.
This activity aims at achieving three main expected results of the project that include; enhancing capacity of pre- and in-service primary and secondary teachers to provide quality education through improving their skills to integrate ICT in education, and using electronic assessments; strengthening capacity of the University of Rwanda in expanding higher education through offering courses via ODeL; and facilitating policy development and knowledge sharing for knowledge societies.
This activity has been organized under the ongoing UNESCO project themed: “ICT Transforming Education in Africa” within the framework of the implementation of the Korean Funds-in-Trust (KFIT) Rwanda project on “ICT Transforming Education in Africa. The project (2016-2018) intends to support the integration of ICT-based innovative approaches for education in Mozambique, Rwanda and Zimbabwe.
