The UNESCO Kathmandu Office along with the Federation of Nepali Journalists (FNJ) is organizing a 5-day training on Right to Information and Investigative journalism to build capacity of 25 working journalists of Taplejung, Panchthar, and Ilam districts of eastern Nepal.
The event is being organized under the project "Empowering people to enjoy their Right to Information for greater accountability of Nepal's power holders." After the training journalists are expected to use actively the Right to Information for the purpose of investigative journalism and make stakeholders accountable towards people.
