Seminar "Investigative journalism in the format of the multimedia journalism"
The UNESCO Office in Tashkent in cooperation with the In-service Journalists’ Training Centre will hold a seminar “Investigative journalism in the format of the multimedia journalism” in Tashkent on 4-5 April 2017.
The two-day seminar aims at raising journalists’ capacity in the field of Investigative Journalism, in particular sessions on journalistic genres, pitch writing, interviewing, ethical issues, security and other aspects will happen.
Moreover, it is planned to conduct master-classes for students of the Journalism faculties of the National University of Uzbekistan and the Uzbek State University of World Languages.
International media-trainer, Ms Sanita Jemberga will conduct the training and the master-classes, and share international experience and best practices.
It is expected to improve the professional capacity of in-service and pre-service journalists in the modern approaches for the preparation of analytical/investigative materials, ensure transparency of governmental organizations and foster democracy and freedom of expression as well as promote further the development of a quality media in the country.
