Public Campaign "All Different, All Unique: Young people and the UNESCO Universal Declaration on Cultural Diversity"

On 21 May 2014 on World Day for Cultural Diversity for Dialogue and Development, in the State Museum-Reserve "Rostov Kremlin" a campaign dedicated to the UNESCO Universal Declaration on Cultural Diversity 2001 "All Different, All Unique: Young people and the UNESCO Universal Declaration on Cultural Diversity" will take place.

The campain is organized by the State Museum "Rostov Kremlin" in consultation with the UNESCO Moscow Office for Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Moldova and the Russian Federation.

The main objectives of the campaign:

• Awarness raising of the young people about the value and importance of cultural diversity;
• Definition of youth initiatives to improve the positive socio-cultural activities.

As the result of the campaign the final document reflecting main achievments will be developed.

The UNESCO Universal Declaration on Cultural Diversity 2001 is a tool for Dialogue and Development.

• Awarness raising of the young people about the value and importance of cultural diversity;
• Definition of youth initiatives to improve the positive socio-cultural activities.

During the event, participants will discuss a text of the Universal Declaration on Cultural Diversity (2001) prepared especially for youth, they will also present their interpretation of the articles of the Declaration and propose their sociocultural transformation plans at the regional level.

As the result of the campain the final document reflecting main achievments will be developed.
