A Pacific World Heritage Workshop will be organized by UNESCO in cooperation with the Fijian authorities with financial assistance from UNESCO/Australian Funds-in-Trust in Suva, Fiji, from 28 to 30 November 2013.
The Workshop will bring together around 50 experts in preservation of cultural and natural heritage from 16 Member States in the Pacific and from some of the State Parties with territories in the Pacific Region, the Advisory Bodies of the World Heritage Committee and other regional partners. Participants will review progress and discuss the implementation of the Pacific World Heritage Action Plan (2010-2015).

They will be offered an opportunity to discuss other related issues, such as progress in "Pacific Heritage Hub" (PHH) activities, preparation for the 3rd SIDS Conference (Samoa, September 2014) and the integrated application of the UNESCO Conventions in the field of safeguarding heritage
