The UNESCO Kathmandu Office along with Federation of Nepali Journalists (FNJ) is organizing 5-day training on Right to Information and Investigative journalism to build capacity of working journalists of three districts (khotang, Bhojpur and Okahdhunga) in the hilly region of Eastern Nepal.
The training is being organized under the project "Empowering people to enjoy their Right to Information for greater accountability of Nepal's power holders." After the training, the journalists will be able to use the right to information for the purpose of investigative journalism and make stakeholders accountable towards people.
