National capacity building workshop for youth organizations
This two-day capacity building workshop aims to give to youth organizations working on issues related to youth employment, the required knowledge and tools to understand and use the results of the skills forecasting exercise planned in youth employment component of the NET-MED Youth Project.
Within the framework of the youth employment component of NET-MED Youth, a series of capacity building activities for national expert’s team (public institutions’ executives and youth organizations) is being set-up, along with the construction of a skills forecasting tool, in order to provide main stakeholders the required knowledge to a better use of the model’s results. Thus, a workshop destined to youth organizations will be organized by UNESCO in partnership with the National Office of Employment and Qualifications of Tunisia (ONEQ). Experts will be responsible to introduce and initiate a discussion with youth representatives on issues related to labor market and youth employment policies. The second day of the workshop will be devoted to a discussion on the link between education and employment and to a presentation of the process of construction of the skills forecasting’s model.
