Meeting of the Approval Committee of the Fund for the Elimination of Doping in Sport
The Approval Committee is in charge of the allocation of the Fund for the Elimination of Doping in Sport.
The Fund for the Elimination of Doping in Sport was set forth in Article 17 of the International Convention against Doping in Sport.
The primary purpose of the Fund is to help States Parties to meet their obligations under the Convention, and in particular to develop and implement anti-doping programmes in accordance with the Convention.
The Committee comprises Six States Parties representatives (Australia, Canada, Barbados, Côte d'Ivoire, Kuwait and the Russian Federation). A series of anti-doping projects submitted for funding will be examined by the Committee at this meeting.
