Master-class for students of the journalism chair of the Karakalpak State University
The UNESCO Tashkent Office in cooperation with the In-service Journalists’ Training Centre conduct a master-class for students of the journalism chair of the Karakalpak State University named after Berdakh in Nukus on 10-11 March. With a financial support from the United Kingdom, the master-classes aim will contribute to the Action Strategy for the Republic of Uzbekistan, which identifies the support of the role of the media as one of the priorities.
Within the two-days training the knowledge of students in the Media specialization will be strengthened in the specifics of different journalistic specializations, the working principles and methods. The master classes will address the specificities of the preparation of content for the Internet-Media, working in the multimedia and network journalism, the ways to enhance the media work efficiency, the ratio of specialization and universality in journalism, and the media education in the society.
National trainers of the In-service Training Centre for Journalists in Uzbekistan will conducted the master-class. They are also the authors of a number of the localized UNESCO teaching and practical handbook in the different specializations of journalism. Trainers will brief on the main principles for each presented specialization.
This educational event will talk about modern approaches for the preparation of different materials for the media and promote the further development of the quality reporting in Uzbekistan.
