As part of the global launch of "Rethinking Education: Towards a global common good?", UNESCO's Centre of Catalonia and the Fundació Jaume Bofill are jointly organizing the launch of the Catalan version of the publication.

This new report is a call among all stakeholders in Catalonia to rethink and to re-imagine education in a changing world. Dr. Eduard Vallory, President of the UNESCO Centre of Catalonia will open the event by placing educational reform in Catalonia within the context of current debates on global education 2030. The report will be presented by Professor Georges Haddad, former President of the University of Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne and one of the members of the Senior Experts Group who co-authored the publication.

Three speakers will then examine a set of challenges most relevant to rethinking educational development in the context of Catalonia, before closing with a keynote address by His Excellency, Mr. Artur Mas, President of the Generalitat of Catalonia.
