Information meeting on the 2017 UN World Water Development Report
The United Nations World Water Development Report (WWDR) is the UN’s flagship report on water. It is published each year with a focus on different strategic water issues. The 2017 World Water Development Report focuses on wastewater.
This year's title is 'Wastewater: The untapped resource'.
An Information meeting for the Permanent Delegates to UNESCO will be held at UNESCO Headquarters on 27 March 2017 following the launch of the new report.
This information meeting will provide a opportunity to brief Permanent Delegates on the report's main findings.
More information will follow soon.
Hard copies of the Report and its related materials will be distributed during the meeting.
The development of the WWDR, coordinated by the World Water Assessment Programme (WWAP), is a joint effort of the UN agencies and entities which make up UN-Water, working in partnership with governments, international organizations, non-governmental organizations and other stakeholders.
