Final workshop of the capacity building project for ICH safeguarding in Portuguese-speaking African countries
The workshop invites two representatives from each participating country – Angola, Cabo Verde, Guinea Bissau, Mozambique and Sao Tome and Principe – and includes the five regional facilitators trained in the course of the project. The participants will jointly discuss the experience and lessons learned. Together they will develop ways to mobilize national and regional safeguarding efforts.
Together with the project’s senior expert from Brazil, they will develop ways to mobilize national and regional safeguarding efforts. In order to further provide the participants with the necessary skills, the evaluation will be followed with training on the preparation of international assistance requests and nominations of ICH elements for inscription to lists of the 2003 Convention.
