UNESCO is organizing an Ethics Teachers Training Course (ETTC) in Beijing, China, from 8 to 11 November 2016.
Hosted by the Peking Union Medical College, the ETTC is aimed at strengthening the pedagogical capacity of university teachers in the fields of social and environmental ethics.

The Course will be based on a training module developed by UNESCO in collaboration with global experts in ethics education.

The course is designed to advance pedagogical capacity for ethics teaching and improve the quality of ethics education around the world. The Course offers a unique opportunity for participants from China to enhance their teaching capacities in ethics.

Approximately 30 university teachers are expected to benefit from this training, facilitated by Professor Leonardo D. de Castro of the National University of Singapore, Professor Manal Bouhaimed of Kuwait University, Professor Emeritus Qiu Renzong of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, and Professor Zhai Xiaomei of Peking Union Medial College.
