UNESCO will hold a 1-day consultative meeting on Mapping of ICT for Teacher Training Activities in Rwanda. This meeting aims at presenting and discussing a draft report on the mapping of ICT for teacher training activities to relevant partners, and collect missing information and partners’ contribution towards the report.
The meeting will also enable the partners to familiarize themselves with the ICT Essentials for Teachers, and how the ICT for teacher training activities are categorized under the six themes of the ICT Essentials for Teachers. In addition, partners’ recommendations on the certification standards for the ICT for teacher training activities will also be sought during the meeting.

UNESCOs “ICT Transforming Education in Africa” is a project developed within the framework of the UNESCO-Korean Republic Funds-in-Trust (KFIT) contribution by the Republic of Korea. The project (2016-2018) intends to support the integration of ICT-based innovative approaches for education in Mozambique, Rwanda and Zimbabwe.
