The University of Santiago de Chile and the General Water Direction of Chile are pleased to invite you to participate to the First Congress in Ecohydrology for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC-PHI 2013) which will be held from 11 to 13 November 2013 in the national and international events Center of the University of Santiago de Chile.
This Congress will highlight the importance of the Ecohydrology as an emerging science in Latin America, joining concepts and applications of classical Hydraulic Engineering and its interaction with the environment which is key to understand the role it can play in our new sustainable engineering society.

The objectives are to encourage discussion on various topics of ecohydrology adapted to Latin American realities, exchange experiences, knowledge and information as well as the creation of collaborative networks. Submission of application can be made through the dedicated website before 31 May 2013.
