Climate change negotiations will focus mainly on the greenhouse gas emissions, but water has a role to play in Lima Paris Action Agenda.
To better transpose this into action, on December 2 at COP21 the event “Climate is Water: Solutions for the future” will bring together UNESCO speakers, AGWA (the Alliance for Global Water Adaptation) speakers and a range of international speakers from different organizations and sectors to share their experience for managing, adapting and mitigating water within a changing climate. The event will take place at the Mandela Room located in the open access Civil Society Zone.
The event is part of the Water and Climate Day at COP21.
During this day, actors will engage into cooperative initiatives (commitments to action for water and climate change) in order to support the implementation of the Lima-Paris Action Agenda.
Overall Coordination: AGWA
