Capacity building in scientific and technological experimentation in Cameroon.
In the framework of building human and institutional capacities in science education, UNESCO will organize in partnership with “Centre d’Excellence en microsciences” (CEM) in Yaoundé, a training workshop for trainers on installations of solar photovoltaic systems, in Cameroun from 11 to 13 March 2014.
Over the three days, about thirty teachers in the field of science and technology will be trained and will be able to mount their own installations of solar panels. Among these teachers will be present: national and regional inspectors, trainers from “Ecole normale supérieure” and “Ecole nationale supérieure polytechnique”
At the end of this workshop, UNESCO in partnership with the Government of Cameroon intends to conduct this experience in rural pilot sites.
