In the framework of the 2015 Transform Africa Summit (Kigali, Rwanda), the YouthMobile Initiative is organizing a workshop for a new UNESCO project called “Searching for Martha”.

Twenty accomplished young African female entrepreneurs in the field of mobile computing will share ideas and best practices on how to identify and sustain female role models and enterprises, including through networking, training and capacity building.

The aims of the new project are to:
1. Identify 1,000 accomplished, young African women entrepreneurs in mobile apps training for young people
2. Provide them with high-level entrepreneurial training and access to capital
3. Charge them to train at least 1,000 young women in the next year on advanced mobile apps development

The slogan is: 1 million M-powered young African women by 2017
